Collection: St. Therese of Lisieux
Thérèse of Lisieux was a Discalced Carmelite who lived in early 20th century France. Her chosen religious name was Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. She is widely venerated in modern times by Catholics and non-Catholics alike. In her diary, "The Story of a Soul," she said that she would rain down "flowers from heaven" with prayer. She is popularly known in English as the "Little Flower of Jesus", or simply the "Little Flower", and in French as la petite Thérèse.
